Surprise Kids Parties – Booking & Pricing Policy
To ensure a smooth and magical experience for you and your guests, please review our booking and pricing terms below.

 
Booking & Deposit Policy
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
The deposit is non-refundable, as we reserve your selected time exclusively and turn away other bookings.
You may still adjust venue, character, or time (subject to availability).
The deposit must be paid within 24 hours of booking confirmation to hold your spot.
In some instances, we may request upfront payment in full to confirm the booking. Particularly for premium, large-scale, special requests or short-notice events.
 
Remaining Balance
The remaining balance is due one week before the event or on the morning of the party.
We will send a reminder to ensure timely payment.
 
Standard Pricing
Character Appearance: $200 for 1 hour
(Performer in full costume to take photos, sing Happy Birthday, and lightly engage with guests. This does not include structured games or activities.)


Hero/Princess Party Host: $250 for the first hour, $50 per additional 30 minutes
(Includes games, balloon twisting, storytelling, and themed party hosting.


Mascot Characters: $650 for the first hour, $50 per additional 30 minutes
(Mascots require a support assistant and involve minimal speaking but full interaction.)


Face Painting: $120 for the first hour, $50 per additional 30 minutes


Photography: $100 per hour
(Includes professional images with post-event editing.)


Catering: $600–$800 depending on your needs
 
Additional Charges
$50 Surcharge may apply for:

Costume changes
Public holiday bookings
Short notice bookings
Premium party types
 
Travel Fees
Standard Travel (within Adelaide metro): $20
Over 40 minutes travel time: $40
Over 1 hour (e.g., Barossa, McLaren Vale): $60
Rural or regional areas: Travel fee to be determined (TBD) on a case-by-case basis depending on distance and performer availability.
Note: Travel fees may be waived at the discretion of the booker.

 
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations within 7 days: Deposit is non-refundable (you may apply to a future booking)
More than 31 days out: Deposit may be refunded or applied to a future booking
Rescheduling: Allowed with at least 14 days’ notice, subject to availability

Giveaway Policy

Surprise Kids Parties – Giveaway Policy (South Australia Only)


To ensure our giveaways are fair, exciting, and transparent, please review the terms and conditions below. This policy applies to all giveaways and promotional contests run by Surprise Kids Parties.

 
1. Eligibility
Giveaways are open to South Australian residents only.
Entrants must be 18 years or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian to enter.
Employees, contractors, and close family members of Surprise Kids Parties are not eligible.
 
2. How to Enter
Each giveaway will include clear instructions for entry (e.g., like, share, comment, tag a friend, or complete a form).
Entry is free, and no purchase is necessary unless otherwise specified.
Duplicate entries or spam may result in disqualification.
 
3. Prize Claim Period
Winners must claim their prize within 30 days of the announcement.
If the prize is not claimed within that period, a new winner may be drawn or the prize may be forfeited at the discretion of Surprise Kids Parties.
This includes (but is not limited to) giveaways like our recent Nintendo Switch 2 Giveaway, which follows the same claim policy.
 
4. Winner Selection
Winners are chosen fairly, typically via random draw unless stated otherwise.
Winners will be contacted using the method provided in the entry (e.g., social media DM, email).
If we are unable to make contact or confirm eligibility, we reserve the right to redraw after the 30-day claim window.
 
5. Prize Details
Prizes will be clearly stated in each giveaway. They are not transferable or redeemable for cash unless specifically mentioned.
In the event a prize is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute with a similar item or service of equal or greater value.
 
6. Prize Delivery
Prizes involving services (e.g., party appearances) must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
Physical prizes may be delivered within the Adelaide metro area or collected by arrangement.
 
7. Publicity & Consent
By entering, participants consent to Surprise Kids Parties using their first name, images, or submitted content (if applicable) for promotional purposes, including social media and website use.
 
8. Limitation of Liability
Surprise Kids Parties is not responsible for loss, injury, or damage incurred from entering or winning the giveaway.
We are also not liable for technical failures, delivery issues, or unclaimed prizes after the claim window.
 
9. Right to Amend or Cancel
We reserve the right to cancel or amend any giveaway due to technical errors, suspected fraud, or other unforeseen issues.
 
10. Privacy
Your data is protected under our [Privacy Policy]. We do not share personal information with third parties without consent, and all information is collected solely for prize distribution and customer engagement.

By booking with Surprise Kids Parties, you may be asked for permission to take and share event photos on our website, social media, or promotional materials. This is entirely optional and we will always ask for your explicit consent.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. Your data is stored securely and only accessible by authorised team members.

 
5. Disclosure of Personal Information
We will never sell your personal information. We may share it with:

Our trusted team members and entertainers
Professional service providers such as photographers or printers (for event-specific materials)
We will not disclose your information to overseas recipients.
